"3rd SADAHIRO dates to ca 1650. Sadahiro's signature iron tsuba published on page 359 of 'Zabo Tanzen' Selection/Written by Kenichi Kokubo and Kenzo Otsubo''. The dark period rust is beautiful and the iron taste is very good. A cloud-like pattern in sukashi along the bottom of the plate. A paulownia above on the right. The ears have streaky or granular steel bones." (Haynes & Long) |
