"This large tsuba is reminiscent of the Higo "Hirata Hikozo" as it is fitted with an Odawara rim made of the finest iron and pure silver . It is a simple design, but the exquisite iron base is thick and sticky, making it a masterpiece. The sekigane is confirming the 'Suruga' classification. The rim is crafted with a nice atmosphere and rotates as per the rules." (Haynes) |
