"Matashichi Hayashi ( First Master of the Hayashi family ), made of iron base, oblong shape, three-covered pine, inlaid with silver dead wood. One of the famous families of Higo, a work by Matashichi, first master of the Hayashi family, with a popular composition of three-covered pine (three-story tree) This piece has many interesting features, such as the silver inlay of dead wood (Japanese pine) on the rim, detailed carvings of leaves, and the dynamic curve of the trunk in the upper right corner of the piece."
