"Both of a very fine shakudo nanako base metal decorated with flowing water, omodaka plants, and other foilage in shallow nikubori, shibuichi and gold zogan encased in gilt. The waves are carved in the manner of the mainline Goto. Signed: 'GOTO JOSA' and Kao. H 02181.0. Dates to mid Edo period, ca. 1700. Signed: 'GOTO JUNJO' and Kao. H 02293.0.
